How the Daily Draw Works
Every day at midnight UTC a new hand is dealt, derived from the date itself: the eleven club-and-era spins are generated from a deterministic seed, so a manager in London, one in Lagos and one in Seoul all draft from exactly the same pools in the same order. The rules are fixed for everyone — standard difficulty, a 4-3-3, one club reroll and one era reroll — so no setup choice can tilt the board.
When the clock strikes midnight UTC, everything rolls over at once: a new challenge number, a fresh set of spins, and an empty board. Yesterday's hand is gone for good, which is what makes each day's leaderboard a fair, closed competition.
One Board, Your Best Run
The daily board takes one entry per player: your best. You can replay today's hand to chase a better record, but a new run only counts if it beats what you already posted — grinding attempts doesn't flood the board, it just raises your own bar. Submitting takes any display name you like; there are no accounts on this site.
That one-line-per-manager rule is what makes the numbers comparable. If your 31-4-3 sits above a friend's 29-6-3, you won it on the same eleven spins, the same rerolls, the same 4-3-3 — no excuses in either direction.
Daily vs Classic: A Different Skill
Classic mode rewards patience across many runs: you can fish for a dream draw, experiment with formations from 5-4-1 to 4-2-4, and reroll the moment a pool looks thin. The daily removes all of that. The shape is fixed, the spins are fixed, and the skill becomes adaptation — squeezing the strongest XI out of whatever the date dealt, knowing everyone else is staring at the same pools.
Seasoned players treat the modes differently: in classic they chase the mythical 38-0; in the daily they chase the ceiling of that specific hand, which some days simply is not a perfect season. Recognising what today's draw can and cannot give you — and building to that limit — is its own game.
Tips for Today's Hand
With only one club and one era reroll across eleven picks, spend them late rather than early: a thin pool at pick three still leaves eight chances to compensate, but a thin pool at left-back on pick ten can sink the whole XI. Protect the spine — keeper, centre-backs, central midfield — because the simulation punishes a weak line down the middle harder than a modest winger.
Remember that draws hurt too. A defensively sound XI that grinds out 1-0s converts more of its strength into wins than a glamorous front line backed by a shaky keeper — and on a board where everyone drafted from the same pools, two or three converted draws are usually the whole gap between mid-table and top spot.
